Attention everyone, SUPER exciting news: I'm in the newspaper! Wohoo!! And it's my 20th birthday! Can it be more awesome? A few weeks ago a journalist from Barometern (the biggest local newspaper here in Kalmar where I live) came to my house and interviewed me about my blog, life, hobbies, work et cetera. I was so nervous, but it turned out really well in the end.

*

This is the first time my blog is mention in the media (and I'm writing the first time because this isn't the last time. That's what you call self-confidence)! I can't believe that this is happening! To be honest; I never thought that my blog would turn out to be this big. My expectations was that only my closest friends would visit my blog. Life sure is unpredictable.... * And on top of that: it's my birthday! I'm twenty years old today. So today I'm old for real and it's time to begin my retirement savings, hehehe.... *

So here's the text (in Swedish unfortunately). I'm too lazy to translate it for you, sorry... * All credit to Mari Haglund who interviewed me, wrote the article and took the wonderful pictures! Thank you so much! *

HILDA'S
BAKING TIPS

HILDA'S
BAKING TIPS

#1

If possible, try to weigh your ingredients instead of measuring them. A small kitchen scale is great investment for a better baking result!

#2

Always sift your cacao, flour, baking powder and other dry ingredients to avoid clumps in your batter or dough.

#3

Grease and flour your baking diches and tins to avoid problems. Both the bottom and the sides. You can also line them with parchment paper.

#4

Use ingredients that are brought to room temperture for best result. Place all of the ingredients on the kitchen counter for a hour or two before you start baking.
