A sneak peak in my messy kitchen today. I made this delicious cake to my father. Here in Sweden do we call this kind of cake for Gräddtårta ("Cream Cake"). It's usually made of a light sponge cake filled with fruit, berries, jam, and vanilla custard, and is then covered with whipped cream and decorated with strawberries. This cake is a must on the traditional Swedish midsummer table! * I've filled my cake with fresh strawberries, kiwi, banana slices, mandarins, raspberry jam, homemade vanilla custard, and then covered it with whipped cream and decorated with fresh strawberries. Yum! ♥ *
