Yesterday I made this lovely stack of rainbow pancakes! Oh God, so colorful! Love it. It's super easy to do. Just dived your pancake batter into different bowls and dye with food coloring. Use color gel for more intense colors. Or, if you don't like rainbows then dye your batter to the colors that you prefer. But who doesn't love rainbows!? *

So I photographed the pancakes, ate them and then uploaded the photos to my computer. Then, when I was looking at the photos, I realized that I had arranged the colors wrong. Noooo! A total fail, I know... hahaha. I felt so stupid. *

But I'm really happy how the photos turned out anyway. I love the light, the sky-blue background, the bright colors, the maple syrup dripping down and so on. Yay! *

Some eye candy, hehehe...

BAKING TIPS

HILDA'S
BAKING TIPS

#1

If possible, try to weigh your ingredients instead of measuring them. A small kitchen scale is great investment for a better baking result!

#2

Always sift your cacao, flour, baking powder and other dry ingredients to avoid clumps in your batter or dough.

#3

Grease and flour your baking diches and tins to avoid problems. Both the bottom and the sides. You can also line them with parchment paper.

#4

Use ingredients that are brought to room temperture for best result. Place all of the ingredients on the kitchen counter for a hour or two before you start baking.
